Ted Lasso x Absolutely Fabulous

A Ted Lasso and Absolutely Fabulous crossover comic. Words on the top of the comic read, “Next season on Ted Lasso.” Panel 1: Keeley Jones, as portrayed by Juno Temple, is outside holding her iPhone and wearing a blue shaggy coat and white earmuffs. She says, “Ok I’m going to the meeting, wish me luck.” Panel 2: Rebecca Welton, as portrayed by Hannah Waddingham, sits on the couch in her office looking at her iPhone talking to Keeley. She replies, “You’ll be fine, tell those has-beens to eat shit.” Panel 3: Keeley sits at a table next to Edina Monsoon as portrayed by Jennifer Saunders and Patsy Stone as portrayed by Joanna Lumley. Keeley looks annoyed and is now wearing a sunset colored dress with long fringes at the sleeves. Edina is pouring Keeley a glass of champagne and is wearing a big blue jacket. Patsy is holding a cigarette and is wearing a big camel colored blazer. Edina says, “Kelly darling,” and Keeley interjects, “Keeley,” and Edina continues, “Keeley hi hello are you rethinking that bone elongation surgery darling?”
Panel 4: Edina continues with a concerned look, “Because you’re simply too small for modeling.” Patsy drinks her champagne and mutters, “stubby little shih tzu.” Panel 5: Edina pulls her two fists apart and a dotted line appears between them. She says, “But the surgeon will just stretch you out sweetie…” Panel 6: “cut out the middle so you’ll just be like a gorgeous head on legs.” An image of Keeley as just a head on giant legs appears next to those words. Panel 7: Back to the three of them at the table. Edina continues, “And when you regain your mobility we’ll got to Milan —“ but Keeley cuts her off with, “You think I would go with you and that thing on another job?”
Panel 8: Keeley gestures towards Patsy and says, “Standing around while she puts a cigarette out on my arm?” Panel 9: Edina waves her off and says, “Oh Patsy didn’t mean it did you Pats.” Patsy drinks her champagne and gives a noncommittal, “unh.” Panel 10: Keeley raises her champagne glass and says, “Anyway I don’t do that anymore— I run a P.R. firm now.” Patsy shouts angrily, “Fuck off!” Edina grabs Patsy’s arm and panics, “What did she say?? What did you say??”
Panel 11: Keeley yells, “I said I P.R.! I P.R. things, people concepts… Bantr!” Edina is flabbergasted. Patsy is unmoved. Panel 12: Edina recovers, “Oh and you’re looking to steal one of my clients, hm? Is that it?” Panel 13: Keeley counters with, “Oh please!! You haven’t had a client since I was an ovum!” Panel 14: Now Keeley smiles and says, “No I wanted to tell you the good news in person: I’ve been nominated for the P.R.’s P.R. Award.” Panel 15: Patsy shouts, “PIECE OF FILTH!”
Panel 16: Keeley exits left from the table and says, “See you at the ceremony!” Edina leans towards where Keeley has left and calls, “Well- well you can forget about the guest spot on our podcast!” Patsy starts to light a cigarette and asks, “What podcast?” Panel 17: Edina desperately yells, “Number one on iTunes darling!” Patsy continues to light a cigarette and asks, “Eddie what podcast?” Panel 18: Edina turns to Patsy and exclaims, “The podcast! The bloody codpast podcast darling” and Patsy replies, “Didn’t know we’d done that.” Panel 19: Edina gestures to where Keeley left and says, “Well she doesn’t know that does she?!”
