The Working Group Number 12. Panel 1: Larry and Paula are discussing their friend’s predicament from The Working Group Number 11. Paula says, “Such a sad story.” Larry says, “Money warps the mind.” Paula replies, “So true.” Panel 2: Silhouettes of Larry and Paula look up expectantly when they hear someone calling, “Larry! Paula!” Panel 3: Larry, Paula, and Lindy run back into the studio. Paula says, “Come with us Lindy, you can be a stand-in until our third arrives.” Larry adds, “Maybe you’ll discover a passion for photography.”
Panel 4: The camera’s viewfinder shows Larry, Paula, and Lindy dressed as emo teens with wigs. In between Panel 4 and Panel 5 is a sound effect “Click!” Panel 5: Lindy has shook off the wig in the captured photo. The photographer says, “Uhp! We lost a wig.” Panel 6: The wig is back on Lindy and the photo is being set up again. The photographer says, “Okay hold that pose…” In between Panel 6 and Panel 7 is a sound effect “Click!” Panel 7: Lindy has shook off the wig in the captured photo. Panel 8: The wig is back on Lindy and the photo is being set up again. The photographer says, “Trying this again…” In between Panel 8 and Panel 9 is a sound effect “Click!” Panel 9: Lindy has shook off the wig in the captured photo. The photographer says, “Okay let’s take a quick break.”
Panel 10: A bird’s eye view of the studio. People mill around, there’s food set up in the back. Larry, Paula, and Lindy stand near the backdrop. Paula says, “Lindy you have to keep the wig on.” Larry adds, “And try to stay still.” Panel 11: Lindy looks annoyed and says, “The wig is itchy and I’m getting a cramp in my leg. Panel 12: Paula says, “It’s all in service of our art.” Larry adds, “And treats.” Paula replies, “Yes that too.” Panel 13: Lindy looks at a plate of sandwiches on a table nearby and says, “There’s food right there, let’s just take that.” In between Panel 13 and 14 someone yells “Hey!” Panel 14: Larry and Paula’s third approaches the group with hackles raised and says, “Who’s this bitch?!”
Panel 15: Paula explains, “Lindy was just standing in while we waited for you darling.” Lindy still looks annoyed and adds, “It was too much standing if you ask me.” Panel 16: Paula says, “Look Lindy, if you can’t stay still then maybe you should start a film career. Panel 17: Larry and Paula’s third looks friendlier now and says, “My friend Ebert is filming a movie nearby, he could probably get you an agent.” Panel 18: Lindy starts to walk away towards the food table and says, “Okay smell you later.” Panel 19: Lindy leaps up and grabs a sandwich out of a person’s hand. Panel 20: Lindy runs off with the sandwich while the person shakes their fist at Lindy and yells, “Hey!”
