The Working Group Number 9. Panel 1: A woman taps on the glass of the window in Brioche’s apartment. She says, “Brioche? Brioche!” Brioche is perched on a dog bed talking to Lindy. Brioche says, “Your family would be part of your influencer work too.” Lindy replies, “Oh…” Panel 2: The woman peers through the window at the dogs and says, “Come back outside right now!” Brioche ignores her and says, “It’s a partnership. Is your family passionate about creating content?” The woman has moved to another window and is yelling, “You better not be humping that yellow dog!!” Lindy replies to Brioche, “No my roommate is kind of camera shy.”
Panel 3: The woman yells through the window, “Brioche you are being very rude to your guests right now!!” Brioche turns to yell back with furious “yips” and “borks.” Brioche is saying, “Go away Monica!!” Panel 4: Brioche turns back to Lindy, “Maybe a career in the arts might be a better fit for you then.” Panel 5: Monica yells through the window, “We did not give you this apartment to hide in!” Brioche turns back to Monica and yells, “You never gave me anything!! I paid for this whole house!!” Brioche’s speech bubble is surrounded by “yips” and “borks.”
Panel 6: Monica says, “We’re going to lose the light!” Brioche fires back, “I paid for this book launch and the glowing reviews and your hideous outfit!!” Monica yells, “No! No! Do not bark at me!” Brioche continues, “And I paid for your stupid wedding to what’s his face!!” Brioche’s speech bubbles are surrounded by “yips” and “borks.” Panel 7: A flashback to Monica’s wedding. She is reading her vows. She starts with, “Mason:” Panel 8: Monica and Mason stand facing each other in their wedding ceremony. Brioche is asleep on a raised cushion next to them. Monica says, “From the moment we met, I knew you had great potential for my brand but you were living in filth…”
Panel 9: Lindy asks, “Are you and Monica okay?” Brioche is laying down on the dog bed and replies, “Oh yeah we’re fine, we go to therapy twice a week.” Monica through the window yells, “Brioche I am going to count to ten…!” Panel 10: Brioche strikes a pose on the couch and asks, “Wanna have sex just to spite her?” Monica is counting in the background. Panel 11: Lindy replies, “Um no that’s okay.” Monica is still counting to ten in the background. Panel 12: Brioche says, “Okay! You should go visit my friends Larry and Paula. Their work arrangement might be better for you and your family.”
