Home for Hanukkah: Ruth is spending Hanukkah in her home town, and her parents persuade her to attend their synagogue’s candle lighting service. She runs into Jess, a family friend (and first crush) she hasn’t seen in years. During the dinner and festivities, Jess dares Ruth to enter the dreidel tournament with her. Of course, neither of them really care about the tournament prize (tickets to a local production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) ––– not when there are feelings at stake 😉
