A Person of Interest fan comic. Panel 1: Root is typing on a laptop and a phone next to her starts vibrating. She says, "Shaw, your phone!" Panel 2: Root continues typing while the phone vibrates. Panel 3: Root glances at the phone's screen while Shaw yells, "Be right there!" Panel 4: A close-up of the phone's screen. Messages from Gen say, "Ok. Be there in 5."
Panel 5: Shaw picks up her phone and says, "I'm taking Bear for a walk." Root says, "Do I get a kiss goodbye?" Panel 6: Shaw kisses Root. Panel 7: Bear jumps up next to Root while Shaw walks away rolling her eyes. Root is saying, "Thanks, Sameen, but I was talking to Bear." Panel 8: Root asks The Machine, "Who is Gen?" Panel 9: Root angrily gets up and puts on her jacket and says, "And just what the hell is that supposed to mean?"
Panel 10: A caption says, "Soon." Shaw and Gen are sitting across from each other in a diner. Shaw looks embarrassed. Root approaches the table saying, "Hey sweetie, hope you don't mind if I turn this into a three-" Panel 11: Root notices Gen and finishes, "some..." Shaw shoves a burger into her mouth. Panel 12: Root gestures at Gen and asks,"Who's this?" Gen stares at Shaw and says, "Who's this." Panel 13: Shaw looks between them with the burger in her mouth. Bear's head is sticking out from under the table. Panel 14: Shaw says, "Finch's ward."
Panel 15: Gen is angry that Shaw answered Root and not her. Root glances at Gen and says, "'Ward?' My, how Bruce Wayne of him..." Panel 16: Root sits down at the table and shakes Gen's hand. She says, "I'm Root." Gen says, "I'm Gen. Are you a spy too?" Panel 17: Shaw smiles a little while eating a french fry and says, "She's a pain in my ass." Panel 18: Gen and Root look affronted by this rude behavior. Gen says, "Excuse me I was talking to Root." Panel 19: Gen and Root both frown and Gen says, "Anyway..."
